When a patient requires EEG in the emergency room, ICU or ambulatory setting, speed and accuracy are of the essence. But it’s sometimes difficult to accurately measure and mark critical care patients for electrode placements. Now, thanks to our partnership with Jordan NeuroScience, Rhythmlink offers a solution with BraiNet®, a disposable template that is easily positioned on the head and has clear, identifiable landmarks for accurate fitting. 
Subdermal Needle BraiNet® Kit
The
BraiNet® template is a disposable, color-coded, non-latex elastic template,
which slips on the head in seconds. The template eliminates the need to measure and
accurately indicates correct electrode placement for 13 scalp locations.
Allowing fast and easy set-up by on-site staff. The BraiNet® template is
designed for "Stat" EEG through continuous EEG. The BraiNet® Template
is available in “large” [54 – 62cm] and “small” [46 – 54cm] circumference
sizes and is designed to be a “single use only”, disposable
product.

Rhythmlink Disposable Subdermal Needles
Disposable subdermal needles exclusively designed to correlate with the BraiNet® color-coded
methodology. A set of 17 electrodes
includes 7 color-coded electrodes for the left side of the head, 7 color-coded
electrodes for the right side of the head, 1 EKG electrode and 2 “reference”
electrodes if needed or can be used as an extra electrode.

BraiNet® Electrode Placement System

The BraiNet® EEG electrode placement system
is the solution for set-up of any EEG - anywhere, anytime, any age.
Designed for FAST, EASY setup, the BraiNet® template eliminates the need
to measure and mark electrode positions – it is ACCURATE - based on the
10/20 method of electrode placement and ensures consistent, symmetrical
electrode placement – every time.
Although it can be used as a measuring template, the BraiNet® is designed to be
used with any EEG electrode or with
customized color-coded, disposable BraiNet® electrodes. It can SAFELY
remain on the patients head throughout the EEG procedure – from minutes in
the ER or EEG Lab - to days in the EMU, ICU or for Ambulatory EEG. It is
latex-free and FDA cleared as a disposable, single-patient-use product – preventing
cross-infection. Choose the original BraiNet® model (modified 10/20
placement) or our Baby BraiNet® Template - designed for neonatal ICU patients, or our NEW
10/20 BraiNet® - with full 10/20 electrode positions - to be used for ANY EEG.
